The Assistant Registrar for Continuing Student Records will provide leadership and expertise in student records that support Lifelong Learning. Work in the duties listed below will include but will not be limited to planning and collaborative decision-making, assessment, synthesizing and integration of knowledge and information from various subject areas, providing communication and customer service for internal and external constituents, and having the ability to create and execute projects independently and as part of a team.
Assistant Registrar for Continuing Student Records
What you will do:
  • Participate in campus-level implementation of Federal, State and University policies and regulations concerning continuing education, professional education, for-credit and non-credit programs, extended studies programs, certificates, microcredentials, and digital education.
  • Work with the Associate Registrar, Senior Associate Registrar, and the Assistant Vice Chancellor and University Registrar to research, assess, and create ways to record credit and programs that support the Lifelong Learner, including the Comprehensive Learner Record.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with Federal, State and University policies.
  • Create, document, and review standard procedures to support students in programs such as CU Succeed, ICB, and other CPE and non-credit programs.
  • Process all transactions related to course enrollments in CU Succeed programs.
  • Work with ICB faculty and administrators to record all student transactions, including but not limited to scheduling, registration, and grades.
  • Work with CPE program directors to admit students, monitor registration processes, drop/add transactions, and grading procedures.
  • Create benchmark reports, meeting deadlines, and recommend continuous improvements for internal processes related to continuing education programs and processing.
  • Report to leadership regularly including the Associate Registrar, the Senior Associate Registrar, and the Assistant Vice Chancellor and University Registrar.
  • Ensure that incoming data from Slate, uAchieve and OnBase for the lifelong learner is appropriately applied to the student record in Campus Solutions.
  • Answer daily questions about degree audits from continuing education students, internal staff, and campus constituencies as needed.
  • Work on projects for all continuing education programs such as CU Succeed, ICB, and CPE.
Compensation and Benefits

The hiring salary for this position has been established at $58,000.

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.

Qualifications
Qualifications you already possess (Minimum Qualifications)
  • A bachelor's degree in any discipline from an accredited institution
  • 2 years of professional level experience in project administration and/or coordination
Preferred Qualification to possess (Preferred Qualifications)
  • A master's degree in any discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Three (3) or more years of progressive experience managing complex projects, or working at 2- or 4-year college or university setting.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
  • Experience with uAchieve, OnBase, and Parchment software.
  • Experience with overseeing data maintenance related to compliance with academic policies.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment and leadership ability to advance diversity and inclusion.

  • Thorough understanding of academic policy, policy interpretation, procedures and program requirements.
Conditions of Employment
  • Occasional work during the evening and/or weekends may be required. Two Saturdays each year we volunteer to work at Commencement - once in May and once in December. This is a requirement of the position.
  • This position follows a hybrid work structure where employees can work up to two days remotely with a minimum of three in the office, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences. Working from the office is encouraged when working on tasks that require a high degree of collaboration.
