Continuing Education Program Coordinator

About the Opportunity

Job Summary

The program coordinator supervises the management of the planning, development, design and compliance for all continuing nursing education activities. Activities may include serving as a lead point of contact with minimal direction to exchange program information, planning/organizing events, budget/finance responsibilities, general program administration work. The Program Coordinator may also direct the work of students (work study), temporary workers or support staff, carry out day-to-day operational plans, and coordinate and/or provide input into projects, programs, or systems.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Working knowledge of accredited continuing education
  • Strong project management skills and detail oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience managing budgets and finances
  • Meeting management or event planning experience preferred
